Volunteers

Volunteers at the Coral Gables Museum can participate in a wide array of activities, including promotional events, special events, summer camp and educational tours. We recognize the important contributions of volunteers to the overall success of our museum, and we encourage you to apply! We look forward to working with you. Volunteers must be at least 14 years of age.

Program Intern

Must be available 2 days/16 hours per week. Reports to Director of Programs. Primary responsibilities include providing administrative support with family and school programs, including upcoming Teacher Workshop (Nov. 1). Applicants must be familiar with Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Internet. Applicants must demonstrate interest in visual arts, architecture, urban planning, sustainable design, museum management and/or education. This internship is unpaid. Academic credit is offered.

Marketing Intern

Must be available 2 days/14 hours per week. Reports to the Executive Director. Primary responsibilities include managing social media, specifically ConstantContact, Facebook and Twitter; drafting press releases and other communications for approval; maintaining email and address mailing lists. Applicants must be familiar with social media, Internet, Excel, Word. Applicants must demonstrate interest and experience in arts marketing, nonprofit management, communications, PR, etc. This internship is unpaid. Academic credit is offered.
