Guest curator and Museum Board member Arva Moore Parks assembled this lovely Coral Gables historical exhibit. Featuring never before seen early Gables’ memorabilia and Merrick family photographs, the Celebrate exhibit chronicles the arrival of George Merrick and his family, and the development of the City of Coral Gables in the 1920’s. A visit to the Celebrate exhibit is a wonderful way to get to know Coral Gables and its colorful history.

The exhibit is open by appointment only and is appropriately housed in the building that served as the City’s original Art and Architecture Center, now the Old Spanish Village Sales Gallery at 2901 Ponce de Leon Boulevard. Free admission. Please call 305-910-3996 for private and/or group tours.
