THE CORAL GABLES MUSEUM FIRST ANNUAL GINGERBREAD
HOUSE CONTEST WAS A WONDERFUL SUCCESS
The First Annual Gingerbread House came to a close on December 14th with the Awards Ceremony and Reception at Old Spanish Village.
All who toured the display were amazed at the creativity and variety
of the 30 entries on display. Contestants ranged from preschoolers to architects and designers. Each entry was a beautiful work of art.
Many entries were auctioned at the reception and many were donated to the Community Partnership for Homeless for display in their facility.
Awards in the various categories were presented by Bank of Coral Gables President Terry Best and the Museum's Director of Operations Christine Rupp as follows:
Professional
First Prize: Carolina Montoya for the Old Spanish Village
